What is a fan stone?
A fan stone is a stone laid in the ground which will be engraved with your name, a company name or that of a family member or a loved one. You may wish to remember a family member or friend with a stone too.
Where will the stones be located?
They will be in paving outside the front of the Jackson Grundy West Stand at Sixfields, for supporters to see whenever the visit the stadium.
How much do they cost?
This depends on the size of the stone you choose. The Standard Stone (95mm x 195mm) available for £65, the Large Stone (195mm x 195mm) is available for £110 and the Premium Stone (395mm x 395mm) costs £425. Supporters can also purchase a Memento Stone (150mm x 150mm) to display at home.
Can I buy a stone/memento for someone else?
Absolutely! We find that most people are buying a fan stone as a gift, a memorial, or even as a family stone – it’s entirely up to you.
Can I remember a loved one who has passed?
Of course. Many supporters are choosing to do this, to have the name of a Cobblers fan who has passed engraved in a fan stone here at Sixfields. It seems an ideal way to remember someone.
Can I buy a stone as a Christmas gift?
Yes, this is proving a popular idea for many supporters. You will receive a digital certificate to print out and present as proof of the gift at Christmas.
Where can I order my stone?
They can only be ordered online from ntfc.fan-stones.co.uk. The site will take you through the ordering process.
Where will the proceeds go?
The proceeds will be split between Northampton Town Fan Advisory Board projects and the Northampton Town Academy so as well as engraving your name, or that of loved ones in history, your supporting the future of the club too.
When will the Fan Stones be installed?
Installation of the first stones is planned for Late-Summer 2025, marked Panel 1 on our location page, and this has now sold out.
We are currently selling stones for Panel 2.
The more the fans support us by claiming enough stones to omplete the next panel, the sooner we can schedule installation.
I ordered a Stadium stone some time ago, what’s happening with my order?
Fan stones are not installed one at a time, but rather as large redevelopments, with a single ‘panel’ containing hundreds if not thousands of stones.
Accordingly, fan stone schemes often run for 12-18 months before an install can be scheduled, and your stone produced and installed.
You often won’t get any ‘order updates’ during that time, as there’s little to share until the exact installation dates are announced.
When will my Memento stone be delivered?
Memento stones are produced in batches, which typically means approx. 6 weeks for delivery from the point of order.
